Yr7 Rugby: Never Give Up

Point England played their first ever intermediate match with Year seven boys in our history. We played against St Marys. We had quite a rough game. They had some huge boys who caused a problem for our team, but we managed to make some spectacular tackles which gave us a bit of pride in ourselves. We gave it a certain amount of an effort but it wasn't enough to take down the big boys. But we did manage to make a movie of our fantastic highlights. Take a look!!

Hey Tanielu
Cool movie about the game on Wednesday,we were all supporting you guys.Even though they were big boys and year8 but you tackled really good, and very fiercely.

Good luck on your next game

Hi Tanielu, I like the way you write with a personal and honest style. It makes me want to keep on reading. I am glad you were able to include some footage of the game in your post.
I will be interested to hear what you think of our new rugby skills blog. What areas of the game would you like to see posts on to help your team?

Tanielu - its going to be hard for your school this year, as the first ever PES Y7 class to take on students a year older (and yes some of those St Marys Boys looked HUGE) but it will be a great learning experience for your team and you will of course all be able to play as a team again in 2011 which will be your year to shine! In the meantime good luck in the Eastern Zone for Rugby League and Rugby Union and make PES proud!
