Tigers Charge Towards First Semi

Failing to beat the Gold Coast Titans the Tigers finished third after the Panthers thrashed the Cronulla Sharks 50-12. Winning would have given the Warriors a chance to make the top four and hopefully get a home semi final!(My dad has season tickets).

Now that the Tigers have finished third they are forced to play the sixth placed Sydney Roosters. This will be a tough match for the Tigers as they have struggled against them in the regular season, losing both times against them will be hard to overcome, but I believe if we play to the best of our abilities we will win the game easily. But I think that the key to playing these games is to keep cool and wait for the right time to strike.

The West Tiger will play there game at the Sydney Football Stadium on Saturday this week.
COME ON TIGERS I BELIEVE!!!

Well what a game aye Dan?

Most experts picked the Tigers v Roosters game to be the match of the round and it was that and more!

The game reminded me of the epic Grand Final of 1989 between the Caberra Raiders and the Balmain Tigers.

An exciting, thrilling drama filled game which had it all!

End to end, no holds barred attack, resolute and at times brutal defence!!

Resolute, stoic, never say die, body on the line defence!!

One team taking a big lead, the other team clawing their way back.

Missed field goal attempts, sucessful field goal attempts and to top it all off an intercept try in the closing minutes of double extra time!! Phewww....

Forgot to mention....a little bit of biff too...!!

No doubt THAT big hit by Simon Dwyer on kiwi Jarrod Waerea- Hargreaves will be shown on highlight clips for years to come!

Keep the Faith! Even though the Tigers lost, they are still in with a chance.
