After holding on to beat the Canberra Raiders 26-24 in an absolute epic injury crisis the Tigers are to fight a Strong St George Dragons to get to the big one (The Grand Final).
This is set to be one of the biggest clashes all year. Memories are flowing back for Dragons fans who lost the exact same match in 2005 in an absolute thriller with the Tigers winning that game 20-12. That was when magic man Benji Marshall was at the top of his magical career, But I know that Benji can do the same as he did back then because HE'S BENJI!!!
Game analyser Phil Gould is right that this is the clash that we have all been waiting for. All week the Tigers have been saying the pressure is all on the Dragons to win the game and I am hopeful that the Tigers can use that pressure to put them away once again.
My guess is that Tigers can take the game, With the pressure rising on the Dragons and the Tigers looking like the underdogs hopefully they can use this position as an advantage to take the Dragons down. The game is at 9:30pm on Saturday this week I BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!

You certainly make it sound like a must watch game Tanielu.
Here's hoping your team is advantaged by being the underdogs and come our Victorious.

Tanielu, I can feel the excitement that you feel about this game that is coming through in your writing. It should be a fantastic game of Rugby League at very exciting time and can't wait to read your opinion of the game early next week. Good luck Tigers, reading your report makes me want to watch the game, unfortunately I am going to be unavailable for the game as I will be at Waikato who host the evil Tasman in an important Rugby Game.

Hi Dan.
It’s the comments I know you’ve been waiting for... : )
My picks for this weekend’s big game.
The stage is set for a monumental showdown between the competitions entertainers the Tigers and the no frills, solid as a rock Dragons.
(You could say it’s the Crouching Tigers vs the Hitmen Dragon??...)
They say in boxing that styles make fights meaning when you get 2 contrasting styles it makes for a more intriguing and sometimes entertaining fight.
That is definitely the case in this rugby league showdown between the Tigers, who’s dazzling set-plays are awesome to watch and the Dragons who’s stonewall defence has seen off more attacking minded teams many times this season.
I’m going to put it all on the line and pick.....the TIGERS to win it and then go on the following week to win the BIG one!
It’s no secret that Benji holds the key to unleashing the Tigers and unlocking the Dragons defence so for the Tigers to have any chance he needs to play well.
From what I’ve read and what I’ve seen this he’s in the right frame of mind to play to the best of his ability and so are the rest of the team.
So lock in the Tigers in a match that will be close at first, with the Tigers finally winning the mental arm wrestle and running away from the Dragons.
Look for backrowers Gareth Ellis and Chris Heighington to again have big games!
Go the Tigers!!!
and go the Toa Samoa Under 12's
(looking forward to your post-match post on the weekend...)
