NRL STARTS THIS WEEK!!!

Boy! I just can't wait to see how each team has improved in their skills and agility! This season is going to be tough, as it has grown stronger in young rookies getting ready to take the spotlight. Of course the West Tigers ( My favourite League team) are looking to make a first good impression by beating the Sea Eagles of Manly. they are playing on March the 15th which is this coming Monday! Australian winger Lote Tuquri will make it in time to play his first game with the Tigers.

Another cracker - jack game that is sure to be a cliff hanger is the Runners Up of last year "The Paramatta Eels and the red hot Saint George Dragons. This will be a good match because star recruit "Timana Tahu" will be playing his come back game. It is quite sad to kn ow that "Big Dell"
(Wendell Sailor) has retired but, he knows that it's right because all the rookies will be coming through this year.

Wow! This is going to be an exciting season. NRL 2010 IS HERE!!! GO THE TIGERS!!!

Tanielu - awesome piece of writing. You had me hooked from beginning to end. I like the way that your writing is informative and entertaining at the same time. Those who want to know what to expect when the NRL starts should have a look at your posts so far. Great stuff - Mr Sports Reporter.

Great write up Tanielu. It certainly captures the excitement that all rugby league fans are feeling ahead of the NRL season kickoff on Friday!
The teams I will be keeping a keen eye on this year are the Rabbitohs, Eels, West Tigers and of course the Warriors!

The Rabbitohs have spent well over the off season and have bought a couple of big forwards who will definitely do some damage. The Parramatta Eels will be keen to show people that their golden run to the Grand Final at the back end of last season was no fluke. The Tigers are one of the other teams that people are talking about as being big improvers. With some astute acquisitions in Lote Tuqiri & Jason Cayless among others, Tigers fans will settle for nothing less than finals football this year.

Now onto the Warriors......Most 'expert' reporters and commentators have picked the Warriors to be wooden spooners this year, in other words...last!!
That probably isn't such a bad thing because that might mean other teams will take the Warriors lightly. The Warriors recent sucessful seasons have happened when other teams have underestimated them. Lets hope thats the case this year!

Go the Warriors!! (and West Tigers...)

A new season means a lot of staying up and watching ah Tanielu?!?

Make sure you still get heaps of sleep so you are not tired on Saturday mornings before your games, Sunday morning at Sunday school and Tuesday at school (if the Tigers are playing on Monday nights!!)

You know what you have to do if you want to watch the footy.
Make sure any homework you have is all completed and and all your chores done, and on Saturday nights make sure you have got all your Sunday school gear (book, bible, pens) sorted as well as what your wearing BEFORE you sit down to watch.
